The fourteenth century Gothic-Renaissance Church of San Miguel occupies the whole north side of Plaza de la Virgen Blanca. An image of the Virgen Blanca, the patron saint of the city, is located in a niche between the two entrance arches. It presides over the popular Plaza de la Virgen Blanca.
Go out of the Asador and towards the right there are some steps at the edge of Plaza del Matxete that lead down to the San Miguel balconies.
